1. What is MALIALIM® SS-20A?

MALIALIM® SS-20A is a multifunctional, comb-shaped functional polymer that possesses an ionic group on the main chain and a polyoxyalkylene chain on the graft chain.
MALIALIM® SS-20A is excellent at dispersing various types of powders because it possesses an ionic group that functions as an adsorption group for the powder surface and possesses a graft chain that controls the solubility into the solvent and provides a steric repulsion effect.

2. Characteristics

  • Is excellent at dispersing powder mixtures (titanium oxide : barium carbonate = 1 : 1 (molar ratio)) and is very effective in preventing microparticle aggregation and in lowering the dispersing system viscosity.
  • Does not contain impurities such as alkali metals.
  • Has good thermal decomposition properties in air or nitrogen atmospheres.
