1. What is MALIALIM® SS-20A?
MALIALIM® SS-20A is a multifunctional,
comb-shaped functional polymer that possesses an ionic group on
the main chain and a polyoxyalkylene chain on the graft
chain.
MALIALIM®
SS-20A is excellent at dispersing various types of powders
because it possesses an ionic group that functions as an
adsorption group for the powder surface and possesses a graft
chain that controls the solubility into the solvent and provides
a steric repulsion effect.
2. Characteristics
- Imparts a negative electric charge to powder in water, and so is very effective in preventing microparticle aggregation and in lowering the dispersing system viscosity.
- Does not contain impurities such as alkali metals.
- Demonstrates good thermal decomposition properties in air or nitrogen atmospheres.
