TSUYAHIME RICE BRAN EXTRACT^™ is an extract from the rice bran of Tsuyahime brand rice grown in Yamagata, Japan. It is extracted with 1,3 butylene-glycol aqueous solution.

Tsuyahime is a new branded rice variety developed by Yamagata Prefecture. Tsuyahime has inherited the genes of Kameno-o, a legendary rice from the Shonai region of Yamagata. Kameno-o has also given rise to quintessential Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Sasanishiki.

TSUYAHIME RICE BRAN EXTRACT^™ is extracted from the rice bran remaining after it is cold pressed without the use of organic solvents through a continuous high-pressure cold press system. This enables us to obtain an extract that is safe and has superior heat denaturation properties.

1. Features

• Contains physiologically active substances unique to rice
  Rice bran contains vitamin B1, vitamin E, tocotrienol, γ-oryzanol, ferulic acid, inositol, phytic acid, and GABA, among other substances.
• Functionality
  The product has DPPH radical scavenging activity, so it can be expected to deliver anti-aging benefits.
  When it is applied to the skin, it can increase the water content in the stratum corneum, so it can be expected to deliver a moisturization effect.
• Conforms to “Rice Bran Extract” under Japanese Standards of Quasi-Drug Ingredients (JSQI)
