1. What is Alfeel®-SD ?
Alfeel®-SD is a polymer material for haircare featuring a nanogel formation designed by applying the manufacturing technology of Lipidure®, a biocompatible phospholipid polymer.
Alfeel®-SD is a 1 wt% aqueous solution of polymer. Apart from this, it contains the following ingredients.

2. Features
- Alfeel®-SD imparts lubricity to wet hair by forming nanogel particles through self-association.
- Alfeel®-SD is effective with the addition of only trace amounts of this agent, so hair does not become dry and brittle as it typically does with polymer products.
- Because Alfeel®-SD is a cationic polymer it demonstrates superior absorption into hair.
3. Applications
- Improves the compatibility of oils in hair treatment formulations.
- Improves hair stiffness in shampoo formulations when rinsing.
