Characteristics
NOF's polyethylene-glycol (PEG) SUNBRIGHT^®, incorporating functional groups to help it fuse with the drug, is gaining worldwide interest as a DDS polymer molecule.

The PEG used in SUNBRIGHT^® is also called a drug modifier. Because it is injected into the body, advanced polymerization refining technology is needed to ensure the PEG is highly pure and contains few by-products, while the polymer molecules themselves must be uniform in size. NOF is the only company in the world currently capable of producing PEG.

Three main benefits are derived from modifying the drug with SUNBRIGHT^®:
