The Electronic Materials Business was established as an independent business division in 2001 to supply NOF’s range of high-performance products to customers in the cutting-edge IT and electronics fields. These products were created using two key technologies—the graft polymerization and blocked acid hardening techniques. Both techniques received awards for chemical technology from the Chemical Society of Japan.
In the fast-moving world of electronic materials, this business is aggressively developing new technologies and markets by focusing on key products such as LCD materials, soldering equipment materials, high-frequency circuit products and lithium battery electrolytes, all designed to become the de facto standard in leading-edge fields.
The Electronic Materials Business will continue to seek out new challenges as part of its efforts to supply the IT and electronics fields with groundbreaking high-performance materials created using advanced technologies.
