2. Features

  • Possessing the skeleton of beta-alanine, a natural amino acid, it gives a clean and crisp finish to shampoos and soaps.
  • Creates fine, rich foam even when used with hard water.
  • Part of it turns acidic when used with a mild acid, increasing the packing property of the alkyl group (see figure below) and thereby enhancing foam quality, viscosity and cleaning performance.
  • Excellent in forming a complex with a cationic polymer, it provides a hair conditioning effect for shampoos.

3. Applications

  1. Hair shampoos: SOFTILT® prevents hair tautness during rinsing and smoothens tip of hair.
  2. Face washes and body soaps: SOFTILT® creates fine foam and provides a natural finish to washed skin without causing tautness.
