Anti 8-OHdG (Anti 8- Hydroxy-deoxyguanosine) Monoclonal Antibody |
 |
 |
When oxidization stress is accelerated by active oxygen, the eight position of 2'-deoxyguanosine in DNA is oxidized and 8-OHdG is formed. When this modified base is repaired, the molecule is discharged as 8-OHdG into the urine after passing through the kidney. This antibody recognizes the hydroxyl group (keto group) at the eight position of the modified base and the second position of deoxyribose. This antibody is useful to reseach immune tissue staining, affinity purification, etc. |
