This is an ELISA Kit which uses the competition method and a monoclonal antibody that reacts specifically to the structure of FDP-Lysine, Nα-Acetyl-Nε-(3-formyl-3,4-dehydropiperidino)-lysine formed by acrolein binding to the lysine residue of a protein. This kit can measure the quantity of FDP-Lysine in urine easily and promptly.

1. Characteristics

1.	Suitable for measuring components of a living body since no expensive equipment for separation and purification and no extensive pretreatment are needed.
2.	Monoclonal antibody recognizes FDP-Lysine specifically but no analogues. Measurable in the range of 1.56 - 200 nmol/ml.
3.	Primary antibody reaction takes 30 minutes at room temperature (15-23 degrees centigrade).
4.	Secondary antibody reaction takes 1 hour at room temperature (15-23 degrees centigrade).
