① Water and Oil repellent for polyester fabric with MODIPER® F3636

MODIPER® F3636 can improve water and oil repellent of polyester fabric.

Test method and criteria

  • ■ Preparation of test sample

    • ・Cloth : Polyester fabric
    • ・Solvent : Methyl Ethyl Ketone
    • ・Dosage of MODIPER® F3636 : 1wt%
    • ・Coating method : Dipping
    • ・Drying condition : 23℃×24h/li>
  • ■ Test method of Water repellent (JIS L 1092)

    Water repellent (point) Test criteria
    100 No wet, no water drop on surface
    50 Wet surface of the front side
    0 Wet surface of front side as well as back side
  • ■ Test method of Oil repellent (AATCC)

    Oil repellent (point) Test criteria
    8 No permeation by n-heptane
    5 No permeation by n-dodecane
    1 No permeation by Nujol
    0 Permeation by Nojul

② Water and Oil repellent for coating material with MODIPER® F206

MODIPER® F206 can improve water and oil repellent of coating.

Test method and criteria

  • ■ Composition of coating material

    • ・Main lacquer (acrylic urethene type) : 100phr
    • ・Curing agent (Isocyanate type) : 10phr
    • ・Additive (MODIPER® F206) : 2phr (as an active element)
  • ■ Coating and curing

    • ・Substrate : SUS304
    • ・Coating : bar coater
    • ・Curing condition : 80℃/30min
  • ■ Test method

    • ・Testing standard : static contact angle measurement (JIS R 3257 (1999))
    • ・Test device : contact angle meter Drop Master 500 (Kyowa interface science Co., Ltd.)
    • ・Procedure : measure contact angle 30sec after dropping water or solvent on surface.
    • ・Test solvent : Water, Oleic acid, n-Hexadecane
